McGladrey & Pullen LLP today increased its presence in the northern Illinois marketplace with the acquisition of the audit and attest assets of BDO Seidman LLP in Rockford. In a separate transaction, RSM McGladrey acquired the Rockford non-attest assets. "This move makes McGladrey & Pullen the only national provider of audit and attest services in the Rockford area," said Joe Adams, partner of McGladrey & Pullen's Great Lakes practice. "Bringing these two smart teams of people together will only serve as a win-win for our collective groups of clients," Adams added. This acquisition increases the McGladrey & Pullen office to a total of 11 partners. The office is located at 501 Seventh Street in downtown Rockford.
