In an ongoing effort to ensure the best quality audit service, McGladrey & Pullen has appointed a regional audit and accounting head for the Central Midwest and Great Lakes regions. Tim Martin, a 24-year veteran of McGladrey & Pullen, will serve as a resource to audit and accounting professionals in the firm's 17 offices in Illinois, Indiana, Missouri and Wisconsin. Most recently, Martin has worked as an audit partner in McGladrey & Pullen's Chicago office. There, he has served a wide range of clients in the financial services industry. Martin also helps clients comply with their Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting requirements. "In this new role, we can share Tim's knowledge with even more clients throughout the region," said Leroy Dennis, McGladrey & Pullen executive partner, national audit and accounting. "Tim brings depth and breadth of experience helping both private and public clients with complex accounting, reporting and auditing issues, as well as ensuring compliance with firm and professional standards." Martin will continue to serve as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' SEC International Practices Task Force. The task force addresses SEC reporting issues unique to foreign registrants.
