McGladrey
& Pullen LLP partner named to national accounting standards
committee
(MINNEAPOLIS, MINN., Sept. 7, 2005) – The American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) has appointed
Jay Hanson of McGladrey & Pullen LLP to serve on its Accounting
Standards Executive Committee. The 15-member committee focuses on
industry-specific audit and accounting guidance for certified public
accountants.
In his role as McGladrey & Pullen’s national director
of accounting, Hanson provides guidance and consultation on complex
accounting and SEC matters. He has been with the firm since 1979.
