 Joseph (Leroy) Dennis, a 25-year veteran with McGladrey & Pullen, has been named the Firm's executive partner -- Assurance Services. In that role, he will oversee the Firm's audit practice, policies and procedures, growth and quality control.
"Leroy Dennis is an auditor's auditor," says William D. Travis, managing partner of McGladrey & Pullen. "His leadership and commitment to excellence in audit work benefits our clients and staff alike." Dennis joined the Firm's audit staff in 1978. Since then, he has held increasingly responsible titles. Most recently he has served as the partner in charge of audit and assurance for the Firm's western region, based in Los Angeles, Calif. Over the years, he has specialized in auditing of financial institutions, construction and manufacturing industries. Dennis graduated from the Firm's Business Advisor program at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He also holds bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from Truman State University, Kirksville, Mo. He makes his home in Victoria, Minn. with his wife, Kim, and two daughters.
