In a firmwide restructuring move designed to make client service even better, McGladrey & Pullen is moving regional audit and accounting coordinators closer to clients. Jack Rominger, a partner in the firm's Irvine, Calif., office, has been named western region coordinator of audit and accounting. Rominger is one of five regional coordinators expected to be in place over the next two years. "Having executive-level regional coordinators in offices around the country means great things for our clients," says Leroy Dennis, executive partner, national audit and accounting. "Although our service level has always been extremely high, placing these coordinators close to clients -- rather than in our Bloomington, Minn., national office -- will only increase that level of service." Rominger, a McGladrey & Pullen partner since 1991 who principally works with public companies in the manufacturing, distribution and construction industries, begins his new position Nov. 1, 2003. "This is a terrific opportunity to serve clients," Rominger says. "It will be an advantage for the clients because a regional coordinator can meet with key decision makers face-to-face. Because our national office can come to clients rather than the other way around, we'll be in terrific position to help clients with their audit and accounting needs."
