Summary of Experience
Mitch Gorochow is the Executive Managing Director in charge of the RSM McGladrey’s Mid-Atlantic region, which is focused on addressing the growing concerns of companies on the move  across the region and nationally.  Prior to joining the Firm in 2000, Gorochow was the managing partner of the regional accounting and consulting firm, Keller Bruner & Company.

Gorochow has over 30 years of experience in accounting, tax, and consulting services, and pioneered his firm’s prominence in government contracting services.  He serves as a member of the Board of Directors of McGladrey & Pullen, LLP and is leading the Firm’s efforts around cultural transformation.  He has also served on the Executive Management Committee of RSM McGladrey, Inc.

RSM McGladrey’s approach is to partner with their clients to anticipate needs and solve their business issues.  RSM McGladrey tackles issues such as profitability enhancement, business process improvement, technology implementation, employee retention and strategic planning, to mention a few of today’s complex business issues.

RSM McGladrey has specialized knowledge in a variety of industries, such as government contracting, construction and real estate, distribution and manufacturing companies, tax-exempt organizations and financial institutions, among other areas.

Education and Professional Affiliations
He is a graduate of the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.  Gorochow currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Maryland Association of CPAs.  He is a past president of the Capital Area Chapter of the Maryland Association of CPAs (MACPA) and has served as Chair of the Ethics Committee for the MACPA.  He is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs.
